Speaking Engagements

  1. Greetings. We have briefly talked on a couple of occasions via FaceBook in the past. As a representative of the AMC New Hampshire Young Members, we do a couple of lectures a year in which we invite somebody to tell us about something hiking related. I know this is a ways out still, but I was wondering if you would be interested in doing a lecture in the fall of this year? We typically do a lecture at a food venue, its all fairly informal. Back in April, we had somebody talk about their experience of hiking Everest at 900 Degrees in Epping, NH. We ate first, then he did his lecture. At that particular location, he was able to use slides. Our attendance was roughly 12 people, so they tend to be on the small side.

I was in attendance at your lecture on the John Muir Trail at the York Library a couple of months ago. I mentioned it to the co-chair of the NH Young Members and he is interested in that particular lecture.

If you could get back to me before June 9th, that would be great. That is our next meeting to discuss upcoming stuff.

Thanks for reading and happy hiking

    Chris Higgins
    AMC NH YM Organizer

Hi Chris, thank you for reaching out! I would love to discuss this with you. The fall would actually be a perfect timing since my summer will be very busy. I’ll send you a fb message!
