The Mountains Are Calling: Songs on my hiking playlist

Looking for some songs to add to your hiking playlist? Here are some of my picks if you need some music  to keep you company inside your tent, up a steep trail, or to accompany your hiking slideshow or video They are either songs that I associate with being outside or are just a lot of fun to listen to.

    Great list. I love the Eddie Vedder song Hard Sun and anything by Pearl Jam. I’m sure mine will include a long list of 80’s songs. I’ll be starting on August 13th……..

  6. I did a similar list of my top ten for walking on the Camino de Santiago in Spain. I actually have an entire playlist with walking themed songs and inspirational songs on my iPod. Great suggestions. I made a Spotify list of your favorites from this post. Very cool!

    Mountain Sound was basically the theme song of my adventures last summer, and I have a feeling it will be again. You’ve got some awesome stuff on there! Another epic one you might want to check out it M83 – Outro. It’s a little bit slower, but so beautiful!

    some of these songs explored before , but as those which experienced was awesome so I saved this address link when I was traveling to access this source of amazing music in my laptop later. I mean now.

    I would agree with Katie. Lord Huron is a must. I’d also add First Aid Kit and The Head & the Heart.

    Great playlist! I would recommend adding Spirit Bird by Xavier Rudd feels like I’m in the mountains everytime I hear this song and it feels like a call to the soul.
